Berlin Biennale


Yesterday I went to the KW Institute for Contemporary Art, to one of the Berlin Biennale exhibitions. Its was a series of video installations over four floors with dark corridors in between. It can only be described as a surreal dreamlike experience,  moving through rooms of immersive videos, a darkened room with singers, abstract paintings, a small intimate room (allowing about 5 people at a time and containing a video installation and artwork covering all walls and the ceiling - like being inside an artwork. In a cave like room there was a video installation showing George W Bush and Dick Chaney apologising continually for what they had done, The main installation was a video by Cecile B Evans "What the heart wants" - (see subset of video below)
